Hulhumale' hospital launches outpatient nursing service

Hulhumale' Hospital has launched a new outpatient nursing service aimed at providing members of the public with faster and more convenient access to essential nursing care.
The hospital said the service has been introduced to make commonly required nursing procedures more accessible and to improve the overall patient experience.
The service was officially inaugurated during a special ceremony at Hulhumalé Hospital by Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem, Chief Executive Officer of the Malé City Group of Hospitals (MCGH).
In addition to medical consultations, patients will now be able to access a range of nursing services more conveniently. These include injections, wound dressing and other routine nursing procedures.
The outpatient nursing service will also provide; Nebulisation treatment, Foetal heartbeat monitoring, Blood glucose testing and Blood collection and blood donation services
Hulhumale' Hospital said its goal is to make essential healthcare services more accessible to the public. The hospital added that it remains committed to continuously improving and expanding high-quality healthcare services, with compassionate and patient-centred care at the heart of its approach.
