President Abdulla Yameen has appointed Mohamed Iyas as the new Registrar of Companies at the Ministry of Economic Development.
Up until his appointment, Iyas worked as Counsel at local law firm Suood and Anwar LLP. He also served as Deputy State Attorney at the Attorney General’s Office from June 2010 to September 2011 and currently holds the General Secretary position at the Maldives Law Institute.
Iyas was appointed Registrar of Companies at Deputy Minister level.
