The 11 year old local boy، who fell this evening from the fifth floor of a residence in capital Male’ city، fell after slipping off while climbing on top of a washing machine kept at the apartment’s balcony، reports say.
According to a family relative of the boy، the 11 year old slipped after climbing on top of the washing machine، which was kept at the apartment’s balcony facing the road. The incident occurred around 17:00 today.
The residence is located in the Dreams Mobile building in Majeedhee Magu.
Reports say his grandmother was at the apartment when the incident occurred.
The people nearby immediately rushed the boy to the hospital by a private car which arrived to the scene، an eye witness told Vaguthu. Police has confirmed the news، commenting the boy was already taken to the hospital.
Further reports say that the boy’s condition is critical due to internal bleeding.
