President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has extended greetings to Maldivians، Hajj pilgrims ، Leaders of Islamic countries and to the Heads of Islamic organizations on the occasion of Eid-al-Ad’ha.‎
In his message، President highlighted that Eid-al-Ad’ha، following the day of Arafat، was an occasion to strengthen unity and harmony among Muslim community، by unified efforts and showing compassion to one another.
Noting that Hajj pilgrimage encourages the establishment of ‎strong brotherly relations amongst us، President Yameen also advised the Maldivians to learn the moral wisdom of this holy occasion of Eid-al-Ad’ha
President Abdulla Yameen and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim are currently in Saudi Arabia، attending the Hajj Pilgrimage.
