Bank of Maldives have won the “most innovative banking team Indian Ocean 2016″ award given by Capital Finance International.
This award was given to Bank of Maldives to recognize the innovative programs such as the 300 million Rufiyaa investment program introduced by BML to improve the banking sector of Maldives.
This award was received on behalf of BML by CEO Andrew Hilly، Deputy CEO Aishath Nooradeen and Retail banking director Mohamed Shareef. The panel of judges who evaluated the bank for the award highlighted how efficient services of BML have become with the introduction of mobile banking application and self service atms. Also the judges complimented the Dhoni Banking service and Cash agent service of BML.
CEO of BML Andrew said they are proud that BML got the award in recognition of the investments the bank is making. ” Our aim is to increase our investments and open 5 new branches and 8 self service centers by the end of this month” said Andrew.
