In a recent spate of changes to the Maldives Hajj Corporation, Sheikh Mohamed Rasheed Ibrahim Rasheed has been appointed as the Chair of the Board of the Corporation.
Prior to his appointment to his current position as Deputy Minister at the Islamic Ministry, he had served as the Operations Manager of the Corporation. He had also been instrumental in running the Corporation, having gone all the trips of the Corporation.
Additionally, Adam Athif of Mafilaage Baa Thulhaadhoo, Mohamed Riza of Henveyru Umarufalhu and Farhad Daaood of Cozy corner Laamu Gan had been appointed to the Board.
The only unchanged member of the Board is the Corporation’s Managing Director Yameen Idhris. His position remains unchanged.
The changes to the Board had been informed by the previous chair of the Board, Dr. Aishath Muneeza.
The Corporation has earned the trust of the public in a very short period of time. President Yameen is closely monitoring the activities of the Corporation.
