After a long hiatus, the Peace Foundation has announced the return of its flagship initiative, The Legacy, set to take place this January under the theme Revitalizing Relationships.
This year’s program features five key events: two major public lectures in Male' and Hulhumale', two interactive workshops, and a family dinner night designed to nourish both body and soul.
The first lecture, titled Emotional Intelligence, will be held on Thursday night at Artificial Beach. Delivered by Canadian scholar Sheikh Navaid Aziz, the talk will explore how the Prophet exemplified emotional intelligence in building a compassionate, solution-oriented society rooted in divine love.
The second lecture, Level Up Your Connection, will take place on Friday night at Hulhumale's Ruhgandu 2. It will focus on strengthening one’s relationship with Allah and unlocking personal potential through spiritual alignment.
In addition to the lectures, the Foundation is hosting two registered workshops. The first, Think and Grow Rich, will be held on Saturday from 13:00 to 17:00 hrs and will explore Islamic principles of wealth creation and business success. The second workshop will center on deepening one’s connection with Allah through reflective activities and guided discussion.
All workshops are designed to be engaging and accessible, with past participants praising the format and impact.
To conclude the week, the Foundation will host a Family Dinner Night on Saturday night at Lonuziyaarai Park. Couples and families are invited to share a curated dining experience by Buruzu Catering, accompanied by a soul-stirring talk from Sheikh Navaid Aziz and a moderated discussion led by Mohamed Shihab (Smile Shihab).
The Peace Foundation describes The Legacy as a pioneering effort in the Maldives’ religious outreach landscape and encourages widespread participation in this spiritually enriching journey.
