Some of the ‘Taza’ brand water cases have fallen into the sea from a dhoani of Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC)، transporting these water bottle cases from Malé to Hulhumalé.
Speaking to the media، Managing Director of MWSC Fazul Rasheed said that the water cases fell into the sea due to waves created by two launches traveling at a fast speed.
SunOnline in accordance with Fazul said، “Waves created by the two launches hit our dhoani and the water cases toppled and fell”.
However، the water cases that fell have been rescued by the efforts of staff of MWSC.
Nowadays، a lot of sea accidents are happening because of the rainfall and heavy tides in different regions of Maldives. While incidents of launches and boats running aground on reefs are occurring، a ferry named “Sun” was traveling from Malé to Maamigli when the boat capsized and sank، along with all the goods. However، all the passengers traveling on board the ferry were rescued. They are now in Malé with the help of Costguard police.
