A sea ambulance transporting a pregnant woman from Haa Alif Molhadhoo to Haa Dhaal Kulhudhuffushi has run aground Molhadhoo sandbank.
Ahmed Ashraf، the President of Molhadhoo Council said the incident occurred at 3:15 on Saturday early morning، and he assured the woman is unharmed.
He also said no one on board the vessel have sustained any injuries.
The pregnant woman was immediately taken to Molhadhoo Health Centre and was later taken to Kulhudhuffushi on Saturday morning to get her admitted at Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital.
Reportedly MNDF Officials and Molhadhoo local residents have refloated the sea ambulance in the morning.
