Experience Maldives Day 2017 Kicks off at Malaysia

The cultural and tourism event Experience Maldives 2017 organized by Typewriter Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with the Maldives Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) is underway in Malaysia.
It started off with a cultural and music performance day at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) on Monday the 6th of March. The showcase, which began in the morning and continued to past lunch time, was held in the open area Student Association building with all students welcomed to partake and enjoy Dhivehi music, dance and boduberu. Students also participated in a raffle draw with the winner being gifted a free holiday at Kuredu Resort and Spa by Ahmed Faseeh of Typewriter and Deputy Ambassador of the Maldivian Embassy Ms. Ghaniya Abdul Gafoor.
This marks the first of a promotional road tour to be held at various international universities in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Students and visitors to the campuses of Sunway College in Subang Jaya, Asia Pacific University (APU) of Technology and Innovation in Bukit Jalil and Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Cyberjaya are expected to be entertained by Maldivian cultural performances over the next three days. Raffle draws, similar to the one held at UNMC, will be conducted at each university with the grand prize winning a complimentary stay at a holiday resort in the Maldives.
Experience Maldives 2017 will also host a full day exhibition of Maldivian music, art, food and culture on Wednesday the 11th of March at the Malaysia Tourism Centre. The event will conclude with a gala concert held on the evening of the same day.
