The most recent name in domestic airlines, Manta Air celebrates a successful one year of operation with its first anniversary.
Manta Air has managed to win the hearts of domestic travelers in its short span since inception, while the airline’s operation officially started on 21 February 2019.
Though Manta Air initiated its operations exclusively routed to Dhaal atoll, the airline has since expanded its operational territory with the addition of flights to Baa atoll Dharavandhoo and Gaaf Alif atoll Kooddoo.
The airline operates three of the latest ATR 72-600s in its domestic operations. The aircraft are designed with customized and improved legroom allowing passengers to have extra space to move and relax.
Manta Air’s commitment towards offering a relaxing travel experience has allowed the airline to become a favorite among domestic travelers and the airline launched it’s seaplane operations on November 2019 in a bid to maximize its service areas.
The airline also became the first domestic seaplane operator with pre-scheduled flights for which Manta Air acquired six Twin-Otters from Ontario, Canada.
