Villa Hotel’s Sun Travel has held many cultural activities to mark the Visit Maldives Year 2016. The resort said the activities were favorably received by the tourists.
Speaking to Miadhu, Abdullah Faiz said the activities were carried out open to all and free of charge.
Faiz said the activities were run with the aim of creating closer bonds with the resort and the Maldives. He added that the support received for the activities show how much the tourists appreciated such activities.
He noted that the bodu maali parade, featuring many different items, had attracted the interest and support and joy of many tourists. Faiz remarked that bodu beru dance was taught to tourists and later a tournament was held among the tourists.
The activities held in Sun Island were held from the 13th of this month to the 13th of next month.
