Nominations open for 2021 Youth Awards

Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment has opened nominations for the 2021 Youth Awards.
The Youth Awards aim to recognise the contributions of youth towards national development across various fields. The youth ministry revealed awards will be given across 18 different fields this year, including business and commerce, health, sports, environment, fisheries and agriculture, volunteer work and vocational training. The awards include the Martyr Jawad Umar Memorial Plaque and the special award conferred by the youth minister.
The youth ministry said nominations are open for individuals between the age of 18 and 36. Application forms will be accepted by the ministry until 1300hrs on September 15, 2021.
The Youth Awards will be conferred during the ceremony held to mark this year’s National Youth Day, on October 22.
