State Minister of the Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Mohamed Didi has announced his resignation today.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Adhaalath Party office, Sheikh Mohamed Didi has said that he resigned because the government has become a tyranny and he want to work to actively work against the oppression of the government.
Sheikh Mohamed Didi said that he does not believe that the verdict of the Criminal Court against the former Defence Minister Mohamed Nazim is unjust. He said that it is clear that it is a preplanned verdict and Nazim was framed.
Sheikh Mohamed Didi said that will never give his job and salary any preference over the rights of the people. He said that he will always strive and advocate for the people.
Deputy Minister of Law and Gender, Shidhatha Shareef was the first to resign from office expressing her concern regarding the tyranny of the government.
