MDP’s “Sea Protest”: 2 protestors jump to sea

Two participants in MDP’s sea protest have jumped to the sea.
The sea protest is conducted demanding for an immediate release of former President Nasheed، who is detained on terrorism charges.
The sea protestors، who had jumped to sea has crawled back to a boat.
The protest is led by former MP and MDP’s member Ibrahim Rasheedh (Bondey) and JP’s member Sobah Rasheedh.
Ibrahim Rasheed has stated that the protest will not stop and will be continued. He further stated that some protestors want to jump to sea while others plan for a hunger strike.
Furthermore، he declared that India will aid them if a crisis happens at sea while protesting.
“We will be provided assistance from India. Now the discussion has been conducted” stated Ibrahim Rasheedh.
