High Rise Pvt Ltd, the Baa Atoll Council, and Eydhafushi Island Council have signed to hold the first ever business expo in an atoll in Eydhafushi, Baa Atoll.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Atoll Council by its Secretary General Mohamed Ikram, while Eydhafushi Council was represented by its President, Mohamed Fathih. High Rise Pvt Ltd was represented by its Sales and Marketing Director Mariyam Maaisha.
Speaking regarding the expo, Council President Fathih said the expo will be the largest such expo to be held in the atolls. He said the move will boost the island’s economy and open up new opportunities for its businesses. He added that the event will bring positive changes to the atoll’s tourism and business sector, and will play an important role in the development of the atoll.
The expo is a great opportunity for large companies and brands operating in the capital to enter the atoll market, bringing together businesses and customers under one roof to introduce their products and services.
Various partners participating in the expo have already been announced. The main sponsor and silver sponsor of the expo is Eydhafushi Red Star. Coca-Cola is the beverage partner while Maldives Movements is the sound and lighting partner. Fi-Es Systems is the technology partner and Island Chief is the tabloid partner. The first participant in the expo is the Commercial Bank of Maldives. The opportunity to participate in the expo is now open to all parties.
The expo is scheduled to be held after the end of the upcoming Ramadan month, together with an Eid show.
