Abdulla Azmeen has won a trip for two to Paris
Bank of Maldives has today announced that Abdulla Azmeen has won the BML EURO Gift. He will receive a grand prize of a trip for two to Paris, as well as USD 3,000 in spending money.
BML EURO Gift was a social media competition that ran during the EURO 2016 football tournament. Participants had to “like” and “comment” on a special EURO 2016 themed post on the Bank’s page, or “follow” and “retweet” the Bank on Twitter in order to be eligible. A series of weekly winners were selected throughout the tournament, and they each won BML Gift Cards worth MVR 3,000.
Twenty six year old Azmeen of Sooraj, Sh. Funadhoo, was presented with a confirmation of the prize by BML’s CEO and MD Andrew Healy at a small ceremony held at the Bank’s Head Office today.
Andrew commented: “We are delighted to be able to present this prize to Azmeen. He is a football fan as well, so we hope he will enjoy visiting the city of Paris which just played host to a great tournament. We wish him all the best on his trip.”
