Quality video conference has been introduced to the Maldives under the government’s new education plan to connect the schools. This is the first of three phases to connect all schools of the country in the same network.
The video conference service was introduced in cooperation with the Education Ministry, Idea and DoAV aimed at the Maldivian education system at an event held at Jen Hotel today. More than 300 students in the atolls can be educated at the same time with video conference technology introduced today. The information presentations and other necessities would be shared through the service.
Vice president of Lifesize International, Andreas Wienold was introduced at today’s ceremony.
And a live video call was made to Sydney Australia, Bangalore and Hong Kong in today’s event.
