The Elections Commission has established a National Election Complaints Bureau to handle complaints related to the upcoming local council and women’s development committee elections.
The bureau, located at the Election Centre, is designed to streamline the process of submitting and resolving election-related complaints.
According to the commission, complaint forms will be accepted at EC counters and via the bureau’s official email. Forms are also available on the EC website, at the Election Centre, and at EC office counters. Additionally, submissions can be made through designated focal points at councils and overseas.
Complaints will be accepted from the start of polling on April 4 until provisional results are announced.
Polling will take place on April 4 from 08:00 to 16:00 hours. Vote counting will begin after a 30-minute break, and official results are scheduled to be announced on April 11.
