Local telecommunication giant – Ooredoo Maldives – has brought strong updates to its 5G AirFibre portfolio to provide more date and enhanced speeds to their customers.
Ooredoo announced the changes brought to their 5G AirFibre portfolio on Wednesday.

Ooredoo stressed that the enhanced connectivity with 5G AirFibre will provide incredibly high speeds – is great news for local communities and businesses; especially SMEs and business that operate remotely or work from homes. To support small business, Ooredoo will also be offering a special device plan with a 12-month contract in acquiring 5G AirFibre.
A special offer has also been announced by Ooredoo for brand new customers applying for 5G AirFibre – who will receive a special offer on the device.
The telecom giant also added that the enhanced speed will allow customers to download movies and TV shows in mere seconds and that gamers will be able to experience lag-free streaming and enjoy their gaming sessions without interruptions.
Customers residing in Male’ city can now check eligibility of their area and pre-book their 5G AirFibre devices via Ooredoo website.
Ooredoo introduced the 5G AirFibre – the first 5G powered Home Broadband AirFibre services in the Maldives – in 2020.
