Mariyam Shaha Faisal has been chosen as the best all round student of Kalaafaanu School for fhe academic year 2014.
While Shaha has been chosen as the best all-rounder of Kalaafaanu for the previous year، she also achieved first place in the National Top Ten of last year’s O Level examinations.
State Minister of Environment and Energy، Abdul Matheen Mohamed was the chief guest of the ceremony.
Education Minister، Dr. Aishath Shiham also attended the Prize Awarding Ceremony of Kalaafaanu School held last night.
During last night’s ceremony، the best all-round student from students who studied grade seven in the school last year، was chosen as Fathmath Ziyada Zahir.
While a total of 318 prize winners were awarded in the ceremony held last night، the students who achieved places in the National Top Ten of last year’s O Level examinations were also given prizes during the ceremony.
In addition to students who achieved golden places in national and international competitions for the school، students who excelled in academics and sports were also recognised for their achievements and awarded certificates and prizes in the ceremony.
