Minister of Education Dr. Ismail Shafeeu has held a consultative meeting with teachers from three prominent schools in Malé—Aminiya School, Iskandhar School, and the Center for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE)—to discuss the challenges faced by educators and explore policy-level solutions.
According to the Ministry of Education, the meeting, held on Thursday, aimed to foster direct dialogue between the Ministry and frontline educators to better inform decision-making processes. The Ministry also briefed participants on ongoing initiatives and upcoming reforms in the education sector.
Teachers shared critical feedback and practical suggestions during the session, highlighting key issues impacting the delivery of education. The Ministry stated that it will evaluate the input received and work toward incorporating it into future policy development to address systemic challenges in the sector.
