Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced its new Housing Grant initiative, to support vulnerable families.
The initiative falls under the series of twelve high-impact monthly community initiatives to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bank of Maldives.
Through the CSR initiative, the bank will build and completely furnish houses for three vulnerable families selected from across the country. The fund is open for NGOs and island councils to nominate families in need of safe housing anywhere in the country.
Meanwhile, the bank’s CEO and Managing Director Mr. Tim Sawyer commented, “The initiative announced today aims to help the most vulnerable families in our communities by providing a safe and healthy environment to live in.”
“Through this project, our aim is to make a difference in people’s lives, their health and well-being, and offer stability and strength to those who need it most,” he added.
Applications for the Housing Grant can be mailed to [email protected] by 31 March 2022.
