Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, vying for Presidency in the September ballots on the Joint Opposition parties' ticket, has appointed former President Mohamed Nasheed as his campaign manager.
Solih in an exclusive interview to news outlet Mihaaru on Friday, described the self-exiled former president as one of the most active members of the opposition's campaign, and added that Nasheed had declared himself as his campaign manager in a "Whatsapp" group conversation comprising of senior officials of the joint opposition parties.
While Nasheed has officially been declared as Solih’s campaign manager, his campaign agent is renowned attorney Hisaan Hussain.
