Maldives loses on FIFA rankings, India gains a lead of 31

Maldives fell back by 11 spots on the FIFA Coca-Cola rankings, with India rising by 31 spots.
The rankings released on Thursday, shows Maldives at the 151st spot, with India at the 101st spot.
This is the biggest achievement for India in the nation’s recent footballing history. In 1996, India reached the 94th spot on the ranking.
Maldives is ranked 27th in the region. With the rise in rankings, India had also risen to the 11th in the Asia region.
Argentina lost the top spot this year, after being beaten by Brazil. Germany claimed the third spot on the global rankings.
