Seven days after the reported disappearance of Hassan Yaameen from G. Garnet, police have confirmed that he has not left the country.
Yaameen’s family reported to police on July 14 that he had left his residence in Malé at 9:25 PM on July 11 and had since lost contact with them. Authorities have been reviewing extensive CCTV footage and conducted a thorough search of his residence with family cooperation, finding no suspicious activity or signs of criminal involvement.
Police further stated that no changes were detected in Yaameen’s apartment, and official checks with relevant agencies confirmed that he has not travelled abroad.
