The enforcement of the strong foreign policies in the Maldives ensures the sovereignty and the Islamic values in the country، says Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon.
Speaking at the press conference held yesterday regarding the achievements of foreign policy in 2015، Dunya noted that President Abdulla Yameen’s government has achieved numerous milestones in it’s two-years، and assured the government is confident to face the upcoming new challenges.
Dunya said the foreign policies are implemented under the counsel of President Abdulla Yameen. “[،،] and with the new challenges Maldives faces، we are achieving success under the foreign policy،” Minister said.
She also said the Ministry will always face the influence and the pressure by the international community to ensure the sovereignty of the nation.
In addition، Foreign Minister highlighted that the government has achieved successes in social and economic sector the past year.
