When the Judge issued the verdict، Nasheed has not shown any apprehension instead he smiled.
Nasheed has been issued a sentence of 13 of jail due to unlawfully detaining and isolating chief Judge of Criminal Court Abdulla Gaazee in 2012.
Nasheed has been proven guilty under Article 2(b) of the Terrorism Penal Code and has been sentenced under Article 6(b) of the same Code.
The sentence issued by Criminal Court states that Nasheed was the one who issued the illegal detention and isolation of Abdulla Gazee and it is proven through the letters provided as evidence.
