The letter of appointment was presented to Ahmed at a special ceremony held this morning at the President's Office. The appointment was made at the level of State Minister. Ahmed was appointed to the post following the resignation of Financial Controller Ahmed Assad in late November. Ahmed previously held the post of Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury. He also served as the Financial Controller prior to the appointment of Assad to the post in last April.
