Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment has held a meeting with parliamentarians from the northern atolls.
In a tweet, the Ministry stated that the meeting was held to discuss the concerns of youth and sports related projects in the sector. The meetings was attended by Youth Minister Ahmed Mahloof and senior officials of the Ministry.
Several members from Haa Alifu Atoll, Haa Dhaalu Atoll and Shaviyani Atoll participated in the meeting. However, Nolhivaram constituency MP Mohamed Nasheed Abdulla (Mosta) has expressed his displeasure over the lack of invitation to the meeting. With the exception of MP Mohamed Nasheed, three northern atolls consist of MDP members.

Moreover, Minister also met with members of the Parliament from Noonu Atoll, Thaa Atoll, Baa Atoll and Lhaviyani Atoll. The meeting was also attended by members of the MDP National Assembly.
The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment has been holding meetings with local councils and members of the constituency to discuss and brief issues related to youths and the projects being carried out by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment.
