The Civil Service Commission has announced a vacancy for the position of Chief Administrator at the newly formed Environmental Regulatory Authority (ERA).
ERA was established last week after President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu renamed the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and restructured its leadership. The Chief Administrator will now serve as the highest position within the authority, replacing the role of Director General currently held by Ibrahim Naeem.
According to the announcement, applicants must hold at least a Level 7 qualification in a relevant field with six years of experience, or a Level 9 qualification with four years of experience.
The position carries a basic monthly salary of MVR 20,500, along with a living allowance of MVR 15,000.
Applications must be submitted to the Civil Service Commission or via email before 14:00 on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Assessments, including interviews, presentations, and examinations, will be conducted in Male’ between August 27 and September 26, 2025. Results will be published within three working days after the interview.
