Discussions aimed at enhancing police capabilities between the Maldives and Singapore took place during a ceremony marking the completion of the Senior Officer Basic Course at Singapore’s Home Team Academy by two Maldivian officers.
Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen attended the graduation ceremony and held a meeting with Singapore’s Commissioner of Police to explore avenues for strengthening future cooperation. The talks focused on opportunities for additional training programs to further develop Maldivian police officers’ skills and expertise.
These discussions build on the momentum from President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s recent state visit to Singapore, during which several memorandums of understanding were signed to boost bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
