President’s Office Spokesperson Ibrahim Muaz Ali has stated that the ‘youth groups’ mentioned by the President Abdulla Yameen during his presidential address yesterday was to indicate the social organizations and youth NGOs.
In series of tweets posted today، Muaz said it is concerning to learn that many are misinterpreting what President said yesterday.
Muaz said the on of the top prioritized policies of President is to empower youth and build a strong young generation.
In his presidential address following the 28 September speedboat blast، President noted that Vice President Ahmed Adeeb has provided ‘financial assistance’ to ‘Youth Groups’.
In his speech، president noted how disheartening it was with regards to the events that unfolded with the Vice President، regarding the investigation into the 28 September presidential speedboat blast.
President has on Sunday dismissed Vice President Ahmed Adeeb from his duties.
