President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Mohamed Anas as the President of the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) in accordance with the authority granted under Law No. 3/2013 (Privatization, Corporatization, Monitoring, and Evaluation of Government Businesses Act), Article 3(a), which establishes the PCB and authorises the President to appoint the PCB's President, as stipulated in Articles 4(a) and 9(a).
Mohamed Anas holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Maldives National University (MNU). Prior to this appointment, Anas has served as the Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Audit Manager at the Housing Development Corporation, and Associate Professor at the Maldives Business School.
