President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu Presents National Service Awards to 94 Long-Serving State Employees

During the official Independence Day ceremony, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu honoured 94 individuals with the prestigious National Service Award, recognizing their dedicated service to the Maldivian state spanning more than 40 years.
This year, a total of 191 individuals are slated to receive the National Service Award. The 94 awardees honoured today include 74 individuals who have served for over 42 years, with their names submitted by the President to the National Awards Committee.
Employees with service durations between 35 and 39 years will be recognized during the upcoming Republic Day official ceremony.
The National Service Award acknowledges employees’ competence, sincerity, and valuable contributions in fulfilling their official duties. Recipients receive a shield, honorary badge, and commemorative certificate as a mark of appreciation from the President.
