The first ever franchised reality TV show “Maldivian Idol’s” second auditioning gets kicked off at G.A Atoll Vilingili.
The audition started at the Atoll Office of the island earlier today while residents of Gemanafushi، Kolamaafushi، Maamendhoo، Dhaandhoo and Kan’duhulhudhoo of the same atoll had also participated in the auditions.
PSM had informed that several individuals from G.Dh. Thinadhoo and Gahdhoo had participated in G.A Vilingili auditions as well as one individual from Raa Atoll Maakurath had taken part as well.
Several interested individuals lined up at queue early morning at the audition venue for registration.
The auditions and the competition will be judged by famous local singers which includes Ibrahim Zaid Ali (Kuda Ibbe)، Ahmed Ibrahim (Ammadey) and Mariyam Unoosha.
The main production house attached to the competition is UK’s famouse Fremantle Media، and they had elected the three judges out of six initially suggested candidates.
According to reports a total of 10 individuals will be selected from the individuals held at various regions of Maldives. While the judges for the competition has been announced، the grand price of MVR 250،000 for the winner had also been announced.
An audition session has concluded in Addu City the week ended، and following the auditions at Vilingili، Maldivian Idol auditions will be held at H.Dh. Kulhudhuffushi، L. Naifaru as well as capital Malé.
