A significant plot of land has been allocated to the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment yesterday.
According to Urbanco, the 54,307.32 square feet land was provided to the Ministry for the development of entertainment and sports facilities in Hulhumalé.
Minister Ahmed Mahloof signed the agreement on behalf of the Youth Ministry at a ceremony held at Urbanco's head office, with Urbanco Managing Director Ahmed Athif signing on behalf of the company.

The Youth Ministry could not be reached for comment on the exact use of the land.
Urbanco is facilitating a range of sports and recreational activities, including the development of indoor and outdoor sports courts, skate parks, and water sports facilities, as well as numerous parks and children's playgrounds throughout Hulhumalé.
