Economic Ministry has revealed that the second round of China Maldives Free Trade Agreement discussions has been concluded successfully.
The Ministry said that the third round of the discussions will begin next May.
Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed was the lead negotiator for the state.
At the sidelines of the discussion, Minister Saeed held meetings with senior officials of businesses. He had met with Chinese Commerce Minister and discussed on the possibility of bringing Chinese banks to Maldives.
