A fishing boat from Gaaf Alif Atoll was split in half on Sunday early morning، while out at sea.
The eighty-four feet fishing boat from Gaaf Alif Atoll Dhevvadhoo، “Theyravaa” was reported split in half while fishing off the coast of Gaaf Alif Atoll Kolamaafushi at 6:30 on Sunday morning.
While the crew on board are unhurt، the cause of the incident has not been confirmed yet.
Police said that the incident has been reported to the Police and they are currently looking in to the matter.
