President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih Sunday appointed former Finance Minister Ali Hashim as Governor of Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA).
The appointment was made at a meeting held at the President's Office, during which the President presented the letter of appointment to Ali Hashim.
Ali Hashim previously served as Minister of Finance from 2008 to 2010.
