The Prosecutor General’s Office has decided to take back the case of former Voce President Ahmed Adeeb due to be heard in the Supreme Court.
The case is regarding the misappropriation of the USD 5 million acquisition costs of Lh. Maabinhuraa that Adeeb is accused of. The case was appealed after the Criminal Court handed an eight-year sentence to the former Vice President after finding him guilty.
