MDP Chairperson Ali Waheed has said that the votes of the people during the 2013 Presidential Election are now being gathered to one side.
Ali Waheed made this remark speaking at the meeting held at M. Kunooz last night.
He said that the MDP and Jumhooree Party joined hands to defend the constitution with the government violating the constitution and trying to change the constitution in accordance to their whims and desires.
Ali Waheed said that the 72.5 percent of the votes of the people are now being gathered to one side and he called Adhaalath Party and others to join in this campaign to defend the constitution.
Ali Waheed said that the MDP and Jumhooree Party did not team up to cause any damage to any people but to make the government accountable for violating the constitution.
He said that the Jumhooree Party has left the coalition and thereby invalidating the legitimacy of the government.
Ali Waheed called to take a vote of no confidence against the government via the Peoples Majlis. He said that he is certain that the government will fail if such a vote is to be taken.
