President promises ‘speedy’ fulfillment of Rasgetheemu’s developmental needs

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu on Tuesday pledged the speedy fulfillment of the developmental needs of R. Rasgetheemu this year.
He made the pledge in an address at a rally in Rasgetheemu – the second stop in his current three-day tour of R. Atoll.
In his address, President Muizzu said his administration plans on launching projects this year to deliver all pledges he made during his 2023 presidential campaign.
He said that some of the projects will be completed before the end of the year.

President Muizzu said that the administration will launch the project to develop a harbor in Rasgetheemu this year, and complete the construction of a hall and new classrooms at the island’s school.
He said that efforts to establish sports facilities and waste management facilities, and upgrade health facilities will begin in the coming months.
Before concluding his speech, he said he would return to Rasgetheemu at the end of the year to celebrate the completion of projects.
