Utheemu, Nolhivaram and Naalaafushi fail to make it to semifinals

Haa Alif Utheemu, Haa Dhaalu Nolhivaram and Meemu atoll Naalaafushi, who all played in last year's Golden Futsal Tournament atoll finals, have exited the tournament this year without making it to the semi-finals.
Utheemu lost to the most recent Haa Alif atoll Champion, Dhidhoo with a 0-3 score. With this, Utheemu has left the tournament while at third ranking in the five team Group B. Dhidhoo, with 9 points, is at second place, while Vashafaru is at the lead with 10 points after beating Ihavandhoo 1-2 yesterday.
Maarandhoo is at the top in Group A of Haa Alif atoll. They won against Filladhoo with a score of 2-3 and gathered 9 points. Kelaa is the second team with 7 points despite having lost 2-3 to Baarah, and has secured a spot in the semi-finals. Baarah, with six points, ranks third in the group.
Maarandhoo and Dhidhoo will play against each other in the atoll semi-finals, with Vashafaru against Kelaa. Both matches are scheduled for Monday, 9pm.
Vaikaradhoo wins against Nolhivaram, yet not qualified for semis
Vaikaradhoo beat Nolhivaram last night with a large goal difference, scoring 7-4. In the other Group B match played consecutively, Naivaadhoo defeated Kumundhoo with a score of 4-2.
Nolhivaram now has 12 points through having won all four matches they've played. Kumundhoo and Vaikaradhoo each have seven points. Kumundhoo leads with goal advantage. Nolhivaram, meanwhile, finished with 3 points from four matches.
Neykurandhoo is at the lead in Group A with 9 points despite having lost to Makunudhoo with a score of 3-5. Second in ranking is Makunudhoo with 8 points. Hanimadhoo defeated Finey with a score of 0-6, and yet has exited the tournament with just 4 points.
In Meemu atoll, Kolhufushi takes the lead
Naalaafushi, who played in last year's Meemu atoll finals, saw itself lose to Kolhufushi last night with a 1-nil score. They finished with a single point at the bottom of the three team group. Kolhufushi ranks first with four points, while Muli is at second place with 2 points.
In group A of Meemu atoll, Dhiggaru is on top. The team beat Veyvah 1-0 and gathered 7 points. Second is reigning atoll champion Mulah. Mulah tied with Maduvvari with a 1-1 score and got 5 points. Maduvvari has 4 points.
In the semifinals scheduled for 10pm on Saturday, Dhiggaru will play against Muli, and Mulah against Kolhufushi.
Tonight's matches will be from Baa atoll, Thaa atoll and Laamu atoll.
