Over 460 vehicles abandoned in the streets of Male’ have been towed by authorities as of Tuesday.
The police launched efforts to clear long-unused vehicles from the city’s streets on February 15. Since then, a total of 468 vehicles have been removed from the streets, including 432 motorcycles, 33 four-wheeled vehicles as well as three bicycles.
The removal of unused vehicles from the streets of Male’ has been carried out in the past as well.
