Civil Society Award Applications Close in Five Days: Ministry Urges Eligible Associations to Apply

With just five days remaining until the deadline, the Ministry of Youth is calling on registered civil society organizations to apply for the “Civil Society Award”, which honors outstanding efforts in community empowerment and social development.
The award aims to nationally recognize the work of associations that operate independently to support and uplift communities across various sectors. A total of nine categories will be awarded, including fields such as women’s, children’s, and youth rights, special needs, education, and environmental initiatives.
Eligibility criteria include being a registered association with valid executive committee terms and having submitted annual reports to the Registrar within the past two years. Associations may only apply under one category.
Winners will receive a formal award and certificate, with evaluations based on the quality, impact, and sustainability of the organization’s community-focused activities.
