Well-known American Islamic scholar Dr. Yaasir Qadhi is to visit Maldives again upon the invitation of Vice Chancellor of Maldives Islamic University, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed.
Yaasir visited Maldives on March, 2015 as part of Islamic Ministry religious awareness program – The Message.
Dr. Shaheem – who had previously served as Islamic Ministry before conflicts rose between his party – Adhaalath and the government – tweeted on Thursday that he invited Yaasir to Maldives again, and that the invitation had been accepted by Yaasir.
