Visit Maldives in their continued efforts to expand networking participates at International Luxury Travel Market (IMTM) North America 2021.
While the event is held at Riviera Maya, Mexico, exhibition kicked off on 20 September and will run until 23 September, Thursday.
The ILTM North America is reportedly an invitation-only annual event where “top producing agents and advisors” from the United States, Canada and Mexico will network with leading travel and tour operators.
Moreover, the event has reportedly attracted a total of 60 worldwide exhibitors and North American buyers from over 153 cities.
Furthermore, the exhibition is ample grounds for Visit Maldives to expand its presence in the “region by providing unique access to new contacts as much as fortifying the relationship with existing ones.”
Meanwhile, the US market observed steady growth to Maldives in terms of arrivals in 2020 which stood at 19,759 despite international travel limitations over Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition to this, total arrivals from US to Maldives stood at 32,976 as of 15 September making it the fourth strongest source market to the island nation so far in 2021.
