Sea ambulance service has been introduced in Baa Atoll under the program to introduce sea ambulance in all areas of Maldives to improve the services provided by health sector.
A sea ambulance has been sent to Eydhafushi، the capital of Baa Atoll.
Although the sea ambulance is scheduled to operate in Baa Atoll، in emergency situations، the sea ambulance can also operate in Lhaviyani Atoll.
Under this project sea ambulance has been introduced in 10 area; Shaviyani، Noonu، Raa، Baa، Faaf، Dhaal، Thaa، Gaaf Dhaal، Alif Dhaal and Haa Alif Atoll.
