First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim or popularly known as Madam Faathun is surely the woman of the year in Maldives this year. She has done exemplary services to the nation.
Her assistance was provided to promote various social causes and to correct many social issues. To the sick and to the disabled. To the old and to the young. In addition, her help was offered to women who are active in sports.
She provided financial assistance to numerous number of children who are undergoing treatment for cancer. She aided many others who were facing similar problems. Her charity foundation organized circumcision of more than 150 boys. In addition, she offered prizes to all the Bashi teams in STO Bashi tournament. Let’s also not forget the 3000 school bags she provided to the less fortunate kids.
She also donated super cooling fans to the Islamic Center. The nation received her services in several other ways.
She funds her charitable activities through activities of her charity organization, Sadhagaaiy Foundation and donations from wellwishers aswell. Even some foreign countries has noted the work of her organization.
